Allen Jimison and Andy Jimmison

Allen Jimison and Andy Jimmison were brothers. Allen and Andy were the sons of Amanda Winn and Jess E. Jameson. Amanda or Mandy as she was also called is the wife of Casus Oliver on the J.J. Terrell census of Ione and Vicinity Indians.

Allen Jameson was born in 1877 to Jess Jameson and Amanda or Mandy Jameson.

In 1880, Allen was residing with his father Jessie Jamison and mother Mandy Jameson in the Mudsprings Township of Eldorado County. Allen Jameson was 3 years old at the time.

In 1905-1906, CE Kelsey identifies Allen Jimmison living in Buena Vista of Amador County without land.

In 1912, Allen Jameson was listed in the West Ione Precinct of the Supplementary Index to Registration Affidavits.

On September 12, 1918, Allen Jameson registered for the Draft. According to the selective service records, Allen was born March 31, 1877 and his permanent home was located in Ione. Allen’s occupation was farm laborer. Allen Jameson was described as medium height, slender build, brown eyes, grey hair, and second finger on right hand crooked.

Andy Jameson

Andy Jameson was born in 1879 to Jess Jameson and Amanda or Mandy Jameson.

In 1880, Andy Jamison was residing with his father Jessie Jamison and mother Mandy Jameson in the Mudsprings Township of Eldorado County. Andy Jameson was1 year old at the time.

In 1905-1906, CE Kelsey identifies Andy Jimmison living in Buena Vista of Amador County without land.

In 1916, Andrew Jameson was listed in the South Ione Precinct of the Index to Registration Affidavits Amador County.

In 1918, Andy Jameson was listed in the South Ione Precinct of the Index to Registration Affidavits Amador County.

On September 12, 1918, Andrew Jameson registered for the Draft. . According to the selective service records, Andrew was born March 10, 1879. Andrew was employed as a farm laborer for Fred M. Grimshaw at Sloughhouse. Andrew was described as medium height, medium build, black eyes and black hair. Andrew was residing at Sloughghouse.

According to the 1920 Census, Andrew Jameson was residing with his sister Martha Wilson in East Ione, Township 2 of Amador County. Andy was 40 years old and was a miner at a sand mine.

Andy Jameson died May 19, 1942 in Sacramento County and was buried in the Maidu Indian Cemetery at Auburn.
